I did not make this up. Just reporting the facts: I saw a diet book today: Permanent Weight Loss without Permanent Dieting - Curves by Gary Heavin. Doesn't that just beg for comment? How about 20 Days to Clearer Skin by Paul Pickin? Anyways, isn't there supposed to be a ' at the end of his name? Thursday, May 08, 2003
BTW, any who knows me well would not be surprised by what they find at page B7 of Mass. Lawyer's Weekly, May 5, 2003 edition, cited as 31 M.L.W. 1747, or SJC No. BD-2002-069. I'll have an online link for you as soon as one becomes available! Hah! That champagne has been on ice for 16 years! Tonight I raise one to you old friend. Just roll it and keep steppin'! You've got to hand it to the guys at versiontracker. They have taken Bowdlerization into cyberspace in the silliest way yet imaginable. A wonderful piece of Macintosh OS X system maintenance software may not be referred to by its name: Cocktail. The great minds who developed the interface over there have reduced every reference to said software to **censored**tail! I kid you not. Talk about asleep at the switch. I have been referring to the software as penistail in my reviews, which seems to avoid the censorship algorithms. Interestingly, other reviewers have found that suck passes muster, as does ass; each of them alone, and not even part of a word, like cocktail. I guess if I spent more time keeping a-mammary gland of trends and accomplishments in censorship software, I'd appreciate their efforts and I wouldn't give them such a turgid time about their copulation-ed up approach to bulletin board managment.
