Yet Another True Story About Stupid Studies:

Mini YATSASS: Bad is bad, good is good.

I don't have the energy today to turn this in to a full fledged YATSASS report, but the following quote from a story on testosterone levels will show you where I would otherwise be heading:

"Too little testosterone is bad, too much is bad but the right amount is perfect," said Barbara Ehrlich of Yale University in Connecticut, who led the study."

Yeah, I'm sure there's more to the story, but can't we all agree that if too little were not actually too little it would in fact be part of the right amount? And the same on the other side of perfect for too much?

Thanks for the help, Goldilocks!

I Have Monkeys in My Pants

...is not a line from a Monty Python dictionary sketch.

According to Court TV: A man was detained by customs agents in Los Angeles after they saw a rare bird fly out of a suitcase they were inspecting. They asked him if he had anything more to declare.

To which he answered...

"I have monkeys in my pants."

Cusack, 49, had just gotten off a plane from Thailand and was immediately taken into custody.

Two endangered slow loris pygmy monkeys were rescued from Cusack's underwear.

For attempting to smuggle four birds of paradise, two lorises and 50 rare orchids into the United States on June 13, 2002, Cusack served five and a half months in prison and paid $1,200 in fines."

I think I have nothing more to say.
