DHS | Department of Homeland Security | Terms of Use

I don't remember exactly why I ended up there, but doesn't this clause from the Department of Homeland Security's website Terms of Use really give you the creeps, and make you wish for anyone other than W to be in charge?

No Terry, You shove it!

Yahoo! News - Heinz Kerry Tells Reporter 'Shove It'

"...[Theresa] Heinz Kerry was attending a party for the Pennsylvania delegates to the Democratic Convention... and she delivered a few remarks to the crowd.

She said in her talk that she felt many un-American traits were creeping in to everyday politics and a reporter for the Pittsburgh Tribune sought to clarify her words afterward."

First she angrily said she didn't say it. Then she accused the man of "putting words in [her] mouth," and later came back to tell the man to "shove it."

Listen sweetie, I heard you say it too, and its on video tape, so that kind of ends that debate. Now, as for the spouse of a presidential candidate telling a member of the Fourth Estate to "Shove It?" On camera, no less?

What are you going to do today? Invite the NAACP & The Anti Defamation League to a rib-eating contest? Sheesh!

I recommend Midol, Preparation H, or maybe just an uppage of the Prozac dosage...

In a related story, former president Bill Clinton, in Boston for the DNC, a book signing, and "some of them summer-term 'Cliffies," offered his take on the imbroglio, "Well, it does kinda depend on what the definition of shove is, and of course, y'all know that I have no opinion as to the meaning of it, at this point in time nor any other.."

What are they smoking in that Billa-bong?

You don't see it often, so sit down and catch your breath. It looks like a completely reasonable trademark claim! If this story is true, Frampton deserves to own this company!

Yahoo! News - Rock Star Sues Over 'Frampton Bikini':

"LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Rock star Peter Frampton (news) is suing popular surfwear manufacturer Billabong for selling a bikini that features his face on the rear and the phrase 'Baby, I love your waves.'

The British-born rock star, 54, is seeking unspecified damages and an injunction to stop sales of the 'Frampton Bikini' saying the phrase is 'an obvious reference' to his 1975 hit record 'Baby, I Love Your Way.'

Uh, hello? Billabong? Did you even ask him if you could put his face on someone's butt? Were you ever going to pay him? Umm.. OK, what were thinking? I think Petey's lawyers are about to [ouch] Show You The Way...
